Today, 188 years ago a group of valiant men signed el "Acta De Independencia" of Guatemala... September 15th, 1821... Today kids, teenagers and seniors, sell flags out in the streets... The little markets decorate their walls with blue and white representing our falg colors... at schools, the teachers and students decorate their clasrooms with the patriotic symbols and everyone congregates to sing our beautiful National Anthem... Oh, how I remember those days and the power I felt as we all sang the anthem. Guatemala, my beautiful Guatemala, my sweet home!
