Morrison turned 2 on Dec. 26th. He is crazy for Toy Story specially "Buzz" so I decided to throw him a Toy Story party... and it was fun!!

I made a pi~ata which all the kids loved and some fun alien cupcakes...

It was fun to see him play with his little friends and enjoying himself...
I just can't believe my baby boy is no longer a baby anymore... they grow up so fast :(

The swing

Today we had a BBQ with my Brother and Sister inlaw and they have a little swing area right
outside their building... Morrison loves swings and he and I played there for a while {Kyle thinks I should mention when Morrison walked in front of me as I was swinging. I tried to avoid it but he took a knee to the head :o Don't worry He didn't get hurt or cried but he did looked stunned :D}... He wanted to play in the big kids swing and as I was swinging him and telling him to keep holding tight this picture came to mind... My little chunky baby is no longer a baby =( He's growing up so fast... I am so happy to be able to stay at home and to enjoy every single second of him...

Create

So, we decided to take a tour at the visitors center this evening. We watched Sandra's favorite presentation called "God's Plan for His Family". It is a wonderful sequence of videos pointing out the fact that we members of the Church are blessed to know what so many others only think, hope or want to believe, that families can be forever. Sandra and I are so grateful for our family and our testimonies.
After the presentation, the sister giving us the tour said she wanted to show us another quick video. She took us into another theater and played the following clip:

Sandra and I really liked this clip. We are children of The Creator. As His children we have been blessed with a small part of this power. This is something that we have both thought about a lot. The name of this blog comes from the poem I wrote about this power and about the idea that we can, through the act of creation, be like our Heavenly Father here in this life. The closest we can come to wielding the power of God, other than the priesthood and possibly more profoundly, is through creation.
To live is to create. We create moments and memories. We create love and life.

Recycling day

On Sundays we enjoy walking to the recycling bin. since it's a day to do good we've decided that this is the perfect day to help out our Mother Earth. Morrison loves sorting {tossing} the recycling stuff in each category.

You will find these signs right above our bin {gotta make it clear for Kyle :D}

Here's Morrison helping us. {the quality of the video isn't very good}

World cup 2010!!

I am a huge fan of the World Cup... Although I am a little sad this year because it will be showing here in Hawaii at 4AM and as much as I love it there's no way i will be waiking up this early. Surprisingly Kyle and Jason woke up this morning to watch it and then went body surfing Craaazy!

I have been watching the World Cup since I can remember... And I hope Morrison will too... I can't wait for him to be old enough and play soccer... last week while daddy play He was dribbling the ball along the sideline. Here are some pics of him playing after the game.

So for those who will be following the World Cup enjoy it ;)!

Mi amor we miss you!

Kyle is in Washington, DC right now. He got accepted for the Political Science Dept. D.C. Practicum... where he's being able to do his own networking and interviews regarding potential careers, internships, or grad school opportunities... So far he's met with Rand Corp, American Enterprise Institute, Congressional Research Center, Lobbyists, Georgetown Law School, and a couple of congressmen and they also have an appointment with Senator Akaka... I think that's a lot in a week... He's way excited for the trip and of all he's learning... He likes it so much He's considering we move there for Law School... which of course I wouldn't mind... But anyways... the reason I am writing this is because I miss him like crazy already! I can't wait for these three days to go fast.
Mi amor we love you so much and are so proud of you!

Food Fest

Last weekend BYUH had the Food Fest... I think it's done every semester/term... Every club in the school cooks their traditional food. This was our first one to go to and We had sooo much fun...
Morrison's first time playing in the bounce house... He had a blast! we couldn't get him out... til the older kids got in it and started jumping all over him :( my poor thing.
There was food from all over the world... and the cooks were the same students... I thought it was awesome! I am a Curry lover so I headed to the Indian booth... Which by the way their curry was really good... I didn't have any Japanese food but I did have to take a pic of this cute japanese girl in her Kimono

Kyle had food from the Hong Kong club which was good too!

And this is how our weekends are spent (Usually, if Kyle doesn't work) together as a family!

Pineapple Everywhere!

Yesterday Morrison and I met with Rich {Kyle's cousin} and Haunani @ the Dole Plantation... They are visiting from Utah... It was really fun to spent the day with them.
What an awesome place... One of my favorite fruits is Pineapple and it was so cool to learn how it's grown...

The view from the train was beautiful!

Aloha Pineapple!

Morrison sure enjoyed it too~
